Sometimes you might want to reach new audiences with content that you might not necessarily want your company’s Facebook followers to see. For example, your company might run a special promotion for new clients only. In these cases, it might be useful to publish an “unpublished” post, which allows you to select the group of people who will see your post and link. That way, your current followers won’t see your post in their news feeds.

Keep in mind, however, that your current Facebook friends should be rewarded for their loyalty to your company. Make sure that you offer them promotions, special coupons, and other benefits, too.
